Will there ever be Big Team Objective?

It would feel different compared to Big Team Battle.

Technically we have ‘Big Team Objective’, the Matchmaking team resized Team Objective to 6v6 and added more gametypes.

Obviously people don’t like it because 6v6 is completely different from 8v8 and Team Objective is a dead playlist compared to Big Team Infinity Slayer.

I still don’t see why they can’t just add Objective gametypes to Big Team Infinity Slayer and rename it to Big Team Battle, it worked in the older games, why not now?

Considering most playlists at launch focused on a single gametype each, I feel there’s gonna be another uproar if playlists were smushed together like past games.

The past bulletin said that they are planning to cut down and merge playlists again soon; we’ll see how that goes.

Bring CTF in and I’m happy I don’t give a dam about anything else.

We could choose out of pro, Infinity and CTF.

The single gametype playlists were one of the most complained about things in terms of Matchmaking, there was no need in having an Oddball, KoTH playlist when you could have merged them both together into the Objective playlist (considering how unpopular both of them were).

The consolidation will no doubt be merging a few playlists together or removing some entirely, so don’t expect Team Objective to stay in a 6v6 state anymore and expect Objective gametypes to be added to Big Team Infinity Slayer.
