The reason I ask is because it is 10 weeks of 5 missions that make up a season. That’s a total of 10 weeks. That would get us up to just into January by my reckoning. That seems a short season. Maybe it would have been better to release 3 at a time rather than 5 and add more story.
Hell, even Red vs Blue have longer video stories it seems.
Yes, there will be a Season 2. 343 has already talked about this. They’re going o wait and watch. They’ll get feedback and see how Spartan Ops is received.
Then, they’ll go forward from there.

Bet it will sell for 800 MS Points. At this current time I am feeling Spartan Ops will be a money grab by 343i.
I could be wrong. Spartan Ops may turn out to be amazing and worth every penny. As of right now, with what I played, I’m not too impressed.
But like I said, it may turn out awesome. Only been 2 Episodes.
Depends if the rest of the chapters in this episodes are complete copy and paste, full of military personnel throwing around derogatory terms, and generic “press this button, go here, kill this” objectives.
Season 1 is already taking up a nice 1.5 GB of my HDD.
