Hey, I was just wondering about this. I know the blue flames armor effect was part of bungie’s idea, but back then I was in college upstate, and I didn’t play xbox for about eight months. I’m just starting to play again, and my favorite game is Reach. Me, and alot of my friends see everyone with blue flames, and as far as we know, it’s impossible to get. Will there ever be a time where people can get it again? If not, it’s really not big deal. Some of my friends just think it’s unfair, I do too. I don’t make the rules up though, so I respect all of the decisions made by 343.
Blue flames were given out by Bungie on Bungie day to people with iOS devices. If you didn’t get them then, unfortunately you’re out of luck.

While I am almost positive that will never happen, perhaps buying an account with the blue flames could be an option, maybe check Ebay, thats the best I can think of =/

That’s not necessarily true, Thats what they said about Recon in Halo 3, and now after March 31st everyone will have it

Blue flames cam out like a year or two ago (I’m not exact)
Recon is about 3 years old on a 5 year old game, that is therefore different.

They had no choice, they had no plans to bring Halo 3 stat tracking to Waypoint, meaning it wouldn’t track your games to see if you had gotten the achievements and the game linked to it.
Blue Flames were a one time only thing unlike Recon which is a forever thing.

I believe you could have unlocked it on B.net, too. You had about a week, maybe a bit more (I believe)
