There will certainly be flights post launch for updates
It would be bizarre to not be able to play Halo Infinite in some form come its 20th Anniversary in November, especially for those of us who pre-ordered the Halo Infinite Series X console - I think throwing the Beta out into the wild for the Anniversary seems like a reasonable expectation.
I guess it depends if doing so would impact their development or if it’s just a matter of letting us play the same beta build and they can just flip their magic switch for the servers to go live again during the anniversary. It’s a nice thought, but understandable if it’s not top of their agenda.
I would hope they do one more flight. Not so much because I just want to play more infinite, but more so I would like to play out one more round of refinements to have a closer look at what we can expect come launch day. There’s just enough minor tweaks in my mind still that should be changed and I would like to see how it plays in the wild to know what that feel is really going to be like.
I honestly think they won’t do 1 more, even though they probably should. If we get a final 1, it’ll probably be in the middle of november, a few weeks before launch. I can see why they might not, though, but they might.
