Will there be Jackals in Halo Wars 2?

I haven’t heard any news about this so I decided to ask.Where are the Jackals?As far as I remember,I didn’t see one Jackal in the beta.Of course they have to be in the game but I wonder if they will appear in as an other leader’s or faction’s unit.Or maybe I’m just blind and never noticed.

They might not be apart of the new covenant faction so they might not be in the game

I believe most of the jackals are currently mercenaries in service to Jul Mdama’s Covenant.

The Banished had an elite ranger as a sniper-like unit in the beta. They may be in the game because there will be other leaders. Like if you Pre-order you get the Halo wars 1 leaders.
