Plain and simple, will there be any Firefight in future DLC?
I hope so, I liked firefight it was fun.
A larger scale firefight would also be fun, 10 players against hundreds of AI’s, and Warden turns up just for giggles.
Only time will tell. I would love to see some major bosses like a scarab or the didact who can instakill whole waves of spartans.

Well, a 343er once said that if there was enough demand by the halo 5 community for a pve/co-op/firefight warzone would be considered post launch. Here we are post launch and there have been tons of threads and ideas popping up everywhere. So now its all up to 343 and their interpretation of enough. Hopefully there has been enough noise for it and we that want it are hoping its in the works.

, I honestly don’t think the forums matter. Skins are awesome but firefight went the way of the dodo with reach, split screen gone with TMCC pre and post games gone and sadly master chief dies in halo 6
Firefight at this point feels like a fever dream. It could be so, so, so awesome with 6 players or more and being able to use your REQ cards and to fight and survive legendary bosses, with skulls active. But alas 'tis no priority to 343 they don’t want something childish like “fun” ruining their super hardcore mlg pros only competitive shooter.

No just like spartan ops before and now warzone, firefight has been replaced. Which is sad I liked firefight more to be honest then warzone. To me ask your self this why is there no firefight on the master chief collection? If its not there I doubt it will happen in this game. I would of been happy if at least odst for master chief collection had a matchmaking for firefight. But hey firefight is just one of the many things that 343 has cut from the halo games, playable elites, file browsers, standard gametypes at launch having to be added in later (and with certain ones who know like vip, juggernaut, race, I mean sure infection will be added but the other ones who know), Medal chest, mvp of the game and top medals, pre/ post game lobbies, Variety of playlist of social and ranked, local custom games or split screen multiplayer and campaign matchmaking are to name a few things we have lost since reach. Dont get me wrong halo 4 and 5 are good game and 343 has taken steps forward with the franchise but the removal of this stuff just makes me disappointed.
It would be sweet if they brought it back. I know warzone is the new thing now, but I still wanna see firefight make a come back.
Honestly I would rather have an Infection game type come back than firefight, but still firefight would be a cool addition.

I imagine they’re focused on making req content and starting production on H6

I think Warzone is the new firefight, kind of. I don’t miss Fire Fight.
