Will there be big updates for the Campaign along the way?

I’m not just talking about story expansions; I mean updates and reworks to the Campaign itself. Changing certain mechanics, adding more variety to side-activities, adding the Repulsor, allowing us to Tap to use the Grapple / Hold to use a different ability, etc.

Also adding new vehicles and stuff, like Gauss Hogs, Revenants, Falcons, and variations for everything too (seriously, why is the Hog the only thing that gets a variant?) I’d also REALLY love it if Special Weapons (like the Unbound Plasma Pistol, for example) could pick up regular Plasma Pistol ammo. Once we unlock these upgrades, we should be able to use them freely.

I think they need to fix some issues first.

I don’t know who thought being able to spam the Grappling Hook was a good idea, but it made vehicles literally pointless 90% of the time. Not only that, the terrain isn’t suitable for most of the vehicles especially how freaking huge the tank is.

343 needs to do some major testing, reviewing, etc… during production before they ever release content as the open-world ever again. I don’t how in the would the botched this.

As much as I’d like to say yes, I don’t think that will be the case. If and when new DLC chapters drop, vehicles and weapons from said DLCs might be usable in the OG campaign. But, like the previous poster, I’m sure the main focus will be to fix bugs/optimize the current campaign.

That’s because the entire campaign was built around the grapple. Remove the grapple. The whole game falls apart

No need to remove it, but even then it still doesn’t solve the vehicle problems because of the terrain.

No. I’m not saying remove it. I’m saying if you did remove it the campagin would fall apart because it’s centered around the grapple

Just saying, I knew what you were talking about. IMO there should have been more thought put into this to at least try to even things out to where it wasn’t always relied on majority of the time.

Yeah, the Grapple is the best thing about the Campaign.

Well sure, I’m not saying this is the main thing they need to work on right now. Fix what we already have first, yes, but I’m talking about after that.
