Will there be any more remastered maps?

Has there been any word on this? I’m kinda getting sick of playing the same ones over and over again. Relic was fun for a few days, but now nobody votes for it as it’s objective only. So some new maps would be great, and I also wish they’d open up Relic for slayer, and add Coagulation back into the mix.

I highly doubt it. However with the extensive forge options H2A has and 3 themed canvases its a crime that forge maps are not in rotation.

I think you mean Remnent and Bloodline, but yes I’m sure many would appreciate the increased map variety. At least they could add forge made maps, but I don’t think ether will be happening before Halo 5 comes out.

So maybe it’s just me, but I don’t understand why there isn’t more anniversary maps considering all you do is replicate the format of the old one with a couple things changed and for sure, better textures. Clearly it still takes a while, just not as long as making an original map. Also someone answer this question, but are the Halo: CE Anniversary maps in the game? If not, why aren’t they?

Reach engine and since there’s no Reach…well yea… this game is done only thing that’s happening is playlists being added and players still unable to play mm.

Exactly. I don’t care what anyone says, it has to be easier to remaster a map than to design it from scratch. Part of the work is already done for them.

I’d love some of the classic maps to be in H2A, such as Midship, Ivory Tower, Headlong, Terminal etc, it’d make it so much more fun. I love the way H2A plays, and prefer it to H2C, but just get bored of the maps.

Another thought - imagine if they could remaster some Halo 3 or Halo 1 maps and put them in H2A… how cool would that be?

It isn’t really “easier” to remaster the maps like they are doing. You could say in a couple of ways it’s harder because they are constrained by the original design. It’s not any less work.

I mean we do have bloodline and warlord which are essentially blood gultch and wizard. There’s a lot of good forge remake out there. I don’t think maps need to be remastered, they just need to add some of the forge remakes into the H2A playlist.
