Will there be any real content before season 2 besides swat with different guns and “orange” colored fiesta that’s identical to normal fiesta?
I’m just wondering when the real content drops. Wanting to play some infection or grifball. Remember when halo 3 had weekend events each week and they weren’t all just fiesta? That was really fun
Throw attrition in the slayer playlist. I don’t think swat for one week is going to hold the community over for 3 months… do something plz
Weekend playlist rotations would be fine, they have the modes in offline, it is possible

I somewhat agree…I actually like the events, but another aspect to them would make them better, like interaction with the game maybe. It feels more like a chore to play and get the event items when you’re just playing the game as if there was no event.
All the good stuff goes to the store anyway, I don’t know, the whole thing feels cheapened honestly. It doesn’t feel like a triple A title. I haven’t played in like a week. I just have no drive to grind challenges I don’t wanna do for an emblem I’ll never use. I miss being able to earn armor lol
That sounds cool. Only problem is that playlist that are only available on the weekend wouldn’t work with the current challenge system. Can’t ask people to complete modes that aren’t/are not longer available. And people might not spend time in modes that don’t help them progress, leading to population issues.
Just another reason the challenge system needs to go.

I’ve actually enjoyed my little forays into Fiesta… and I’ve improved with a few of the weapons. Although I do admit it’s now got a bit repetitive (I don’t like Fiesta THAT much) and some of the challenges have been counter-productive.
But looking forward to seeing what they can do with Tactical Slayer. Mixing up the weapons is a great start.
Hopefully the will continue trying new things to freshen things up.

Weekend challenges with rewards might work, but the weekly challenge rewards would need to be improved.

They aren’t putting out anything more. A lot of it probably has to do with the 26 job opening currently posted.
But don’t worry, when season 2 arrives in 56 days you’ll get 2 new maps. Well, if you actually play BTB and Ranked/Quick Play. If you’re like a lot of us that usually play one or the other, then it’s gonna feel more like getting just 1 new map. Man, I’m so overwhelmed with the rush of content this live service game has to offer.

Infection with the Bulldog would be so fun, NOT. Grifball would be cool… but gotta have assault first right? Maybe, if we’re a good community, they’ll add it for a week and then remove it like they did Attrition. Fun times!

Recently I passed 2077, and now Elden Ring has played for 80 hours and is about to end.
Honest, It feels good without halo infinity.
When I miss Halo, I will play MCC or forge with my friends in Halo 5.

Except subpar support throughout the life of this game. Hopefully Microsoft will find a new studio to take over Halo in the future.

Yes, but 343 was formed from scratch and had no prior record to prove they where up to the task. I’d rather see Microsoft hand Halo to a long standing studio with a proven track record in quality narrative story telling and deep multiplayer experience.
Honestly the fortnite studio would be better than 343. At least we would get like multiple events a week lol it wouldn’t take much to find a better studio.
Microsoft doesn’t wanna pay for dedicated workers though, they’d rather have their code look like Christmas wires
