Since Halo 5’s Beta/Insider launched well before the release (in my memory around 6 months before, maybe even more), it’s a pretty wierd thought that with all these ‘crums’ of information that there might even be an beta/insider. I mean it seems like 343i is really planning to evenly spread it out, and (according to yesterday’s blog post) the bug-fixing hasn’t even begun. So if there would be a beta, I expect it to be after a probable june E3 re-reveal. So that would be around half a year before release.
Is it safe to assume that this is the case? Or might there just flat-out be none.
Yup, the latest Inside Infinite blog on the Waypoint front page mentions that you should be signed up to Halo Insider for Infinite.
Yes, they said we should expect flighting sometime around this summer I think.

Halo 5’s beta took place 10 or so months before the game released in October. Late December 2014 if I remember correctly. I think Infinite’s beta will be a lot closer than that though. Both 3 and Reach’s betas took place around May with both games releasing in September. If I was a betting man, I’d say we will get a deep dive on Infinites MP in May or June with a beta followed within the month as HI will release around Holiday (September-November). Just putting it out there though, the games content is done, so I have a gut feeling we’re in for a September Halo with Infinite. Could easily still be October or November though. We’ll all see soon enough

Same here, saw the inv then saw MCC. I like being an insider but I definitely felt let down today. Hopefully we see the Halo Infinite flights soon, ish.
