Will there be a splitscreen update?

Hi everyone,

I just bought my first xBox and I have chosen the Halo 5 bundle. I’ve already played Halo together with friends on splitscreen. I now planned to play Halo on splitscreen with my wife and friends, but it seems like there is now splitscreen. Is this right and if yes, will there be an update for the splitscreen function? That was pretty much the reason why I bought Halo…

if there will not be an update, can someone suggest me other games with splitscreen modes?

Nope. to maintain the 60 fps the game engine cannot run on lower fps split screen would cause. This cannot be patched because it would be unplayable. This is what they’ve told us.

Well, there will never be a split-screen update, I can say that for almost a fact. Yeah, it’s not I fact I’d like to say.

All the other past Halo games have split-screen, and they’re coming up into backwards compatibility, if you’d fancy that.
If you’d fancy playing another game, then Co-optimus.com would be a great place to look.

No Split screen unless (Yes there is hope) you have 2 Xbox ones and a Skreens device.
(Oh and you need 1 copy of the game if you have digital and know your way around the xbox, or 2 physical copies.)

Oh, I forgot, If you have 2 Xbox ones, this only allows for 2 people. If you get another Xbox one, you will also need to update your Skreens device. All of this combined IS LESS than not using split screen, but only because the Skreens device is cheaper than 2+ TVs, no matter which version you get.
(The Skreens device around $200 for 2 Xbones $325 for 4)
The Total Cost is: (ASSUMING YOU ALREADY HAVE AN XBOX ONE AND HALO 5)
-For 2 people: 1 more Xbox (You already have one[$300]) + Skreens ($200)+ Halo 5(If you don’t have digital 0-60)= $500 -$560

-For 3 People 2 more Xbones ($600)+ Skreens ($325)+ Halo 5 (digital only works for 2 so you need another copy now 60-120)= $985-$1105
-For 4 People 3 more Xbones ($900)+ Skreens ($325)+ Halo 5 (the most you can spend here is 60-180)= $1285-$1405

Ok, 2 xboxes is not an option. Thx general yums for the info. I will check Co-optimus.com for other games. Halo just died for me
