Will there be a solution to missed twitch drops due to bugged out account links?

I realized today after days of waiting for my twitch drops to post to my account that the whole process was bugged, and now it’s probably too late to ever fix. I watched HCS all weekend and it’s really annoying that I’m gonna miss out on the exclusive drops due to a broken twitch connection system. I initially thought it was just 343 taking a long time to post the rewards, then I discovered the “…” Twitch account bug and realize now I’m screwed…

Will there be any recourse from 343 to solve this issue? A lot of ppl missed the stuff through no fault of their own.

not sure yet sadly, got a ticket pending so will let you know if they reply to it at least :slight_smile:

My ticket was generated 2 days ago but there is still no response.
This is very disappointing. I watched the stream at 2 a.m. local time.

Doubt it, a vast majority of people were robbed.

I opened a ticket and have made a little progress:

Currently waiting to see if unlinking and relinking the twitch account works based on their suggestion before continuing process.

Probably not, because 343i refuses to even acknowledge the issue. Hell, the game still suffers from some issues that 343i told Digital Foundry on release day that they are “testing a hotfix for”, such as the 30fps locked animations bug.

343i doesn’t care.

I tried linking and unlinking several times, several different ways. It never fixed the issue for me

Said I’d update this for any interested when I’d gotten updates and progress with the ticket, so here’s where I got to and seemingly where the issue stands for now:

So they’re aware and also aware that we can’t fix it ourselves, we went through all the steps to this conclusion :slight_smile:
