I’m not here to hate on the game so don’t start flaming me all you, “u mad?” kids. I know they’ll release playlists, but is there going to be one without loadouts, kill cams and armor abilities? If not, I’m heading on to CoD cause this isn’t the Halo gameplay I love so I haven’t really enjoyed it so far. Does anyone know / have a link or anything?

I don’t want BR and DMR’s as primary weapons. Just AR’s.
Hopefully this is read and taken seriously. I like halo 4, it’s fun to play but its not really Halo. I feel like I’m playing cod with aliens and Spartans. As far as multiplayer goes, as well as the maps, I think it’s interesting how the weapons aren’t located in certain area, but at the same time, they never respawn back before the match is over. As far as I’ve seen, the ordnance drops are only useful for a split second relief of your current load outs. I’m hoping that load outs will have more weapon unlocks in a future update, cause if you put enough time into it, you can unlock all the weapons in a week. I heard a rumor you guys might bring swat back, but it doesn’t need any of this new “343 industry/Microsoft studios” stuff. No perks, no ordnance drops, no shields or anything. Maybe throw in the option of DMR or battle rifle, and leave it alone. It was a huge let down for me at 1am opening day when I find out swat isn’t in the playlist. As far as the maps go, they follow the cod style of maps, where its all small hallways and not big open slaughter areas like traditional Halo predecessors.
The campaign I haven’t dove to far into, but all I can say is its trying to hard to be like the original halo. ‘Run here, press the switch. Oh wait, enemies respawned between you and the next switch. Damn.’ I haven’t finished yet (busy on war games), but I’m curious about the actual story, not the gameplay.
Last but not least, the collectors box. Previous halos were glorified in marvelous tins, with WEIGHT to them. I just dropped $100 on piece of cardboard with a magnetized flap.
Again, I’ll keep playing your game because its fun, but I hope you guys take some of this into consideration. I’m not really here for the forum itself, I just hope 343 actually reads this. For the people who dislike what I’ve said, sorry, I won’t be replying, but maybe you’ll see me online…R3DX
I haven’t played online yet because of lack of high speed internet access, but Slayer Pro doesn’t have motion sensors? WTF 343? If there’s not a classic playlist that has motion sensor and doesn’t have armor abilities and loadouts, this is the nail in the coffin.
But stop complaining about killcams. It doesn’t do any harm, turn it off if you don’t like it.
