I really hope so, love this game.

Yeah, with how big was ATN and the flood coming back it’s hard to top that so sadly, I’m almost certain no more big DLC is coming to Halo Wars 2. Now maybe we’ll get new maps but a new leaders is not likely and a few more campaign missions are even lower. However, I enjoyed ATN and I’m glad to know they ended it all with a bang(The DLC). The game’s community and fan base is no where close to dying so I’m sure HW2 will prosper for a little longer.
I’m afraid not. 343 would of said unless its a campaign expansion but I highly doubt it. My guess is they are starting work on Halo 6 drawing up concepts and building the much important story. HW2 asked more questions than it answered which is good because it keeps the story going and us fans speculating what the future holds. If its anywhere near as good as HW2 then the faults of Halo 5 will soon be forgotten.
I’d like to see more free maps, I don’t think that’s asking for too much.

What does “nothing to announce” really mean. Does it mean that’s it? I’m assuming that’s the case, given the # of DLC and expansions already out.
But every time they say “nothing to announce,” the journalist in me assumes that means there is something, they just don’t want to announce it.
With nothing but balance updates this game will fall into oblivion. Maybe there will be Halo Wars 3 in 5 years or more.
They could just make another campaign series of mission post ATN where the flood is causing a huge problem for the banished n remnants of the spirit of fire. Also personally I’d love to see the unsc forces team up with voridus + pavion for a short time in a 2 sided coop dlc player 1 as unsc n player 2 as banished forces.
If they leave it alone for to long the community will start to die off like right now

I would love the addition of the old maps revamped as the new maps aren’t anywhere near as good! As for new dlc… the first game was unsupported pretty quickly and I think that most likely this will end up being the fate for hw2 as well. They need to sort out the balancing especially for the survival of the bases and turrets, this probably takes priority over actually adding anything new to the game, it feels silly that with x period of time I can rinse a base with just hornets even though their base is fully built and has the towers with anti air same goes for rushing with infantry and vehicles.
I would love a couple of new exciting maps with a really different layout and background. My dream is a big expansion like ATN, something that can give me some background about Kinsano. That could be my dream before any annoucement for Halo Wars 3.

It seemed to be based more on space battles between huge ships, with the bases being built into the ships themselves. There is some video and images going on, I hope that concept makes it, in some way to the inevitable HW3.
actually according to this they are actively getting ideas for DLC

I couldn’t be so cool to get that… I wish for another expansion. I could be willing to pay another 20 bucks for a new expansion. Maybe some Atriox trying to get the Spirit of Fire, so they can use those locations in the space with ship to work with… Ah… A man can dream my friend.
