Do you think that there could be a game between Halo 4 and Halo 5, or will we get Halo 4 this year then wait another 3 years until Halo 5 coms out?
I’m hoping for either Halo 2 Anniversary, which I guess might be released in 2014 or Halo Wars 2 (Space-battles, please?).
Actually, I’d imagine Spartan Ops would fill our time between Halo 4 and 5.
I’m kind of hoping for Halo 2 HD, but at the same time, I don’t want to see Halo annualized, and so far it has been since 2009.

2009 - Halo Wars, Halo 3: ODST
2010 - Halo: Reach
2011 - Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
2012 - Halo 4
We’ve had enough Halo games in the past few years to last us a long time. If you think about it, it’s insane. People had Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001, and they had to sit with that game for three whole years, without any content support or anything, until Halo 2 came out in 2004. And then they had to wait another three years with just map packs dropping for Halo 3 to come out in 2007. But then the wait for Halo Wars and ODST was just two years. And now we’ve had a game every year since.
I know people get bored, but I really want a year or two wait before another Halo.
There could be, but I know for a fact that I wont play another “Halo Wars” game. Uggh!

Halo 4 looks to have a crazy amount of re-playability, so maybe there won’t be a game to bridge the gap. Also depends on if the new Xbox and when it comes out.
I’m hoping they at least do Halo 2 HD that way by the time Halo 6 is out, for those who don’t have the original games, can have all 6. I for one know I won’t be trading in Halo: CEA. Also, would they even be able to do a Halo Wars 2?? The first one told the story of Harvest. Though different from the first person shooter games, it had a purpose. They can do a game based off of some other story though. Maybe the first half of Reach since the game only decided to do the end of the story sans John. Or maybe even do Halo Wards from a FPS POV.
I just don’t want Halo 5 to be rushed is what I’m getting at. Even if there’s no Halo game to fill the gap, we’ll still have the books and I just remembered that when talking about Spartan Ops, they keep saying “season 1,” so maybe they’ll continue that with a season 2 and maybe even a season 3 in the gap in between. Assuming it goes well, which I haven’t seen or heard of a reason for it to be bad.

Someone said that the “content season” will last a few months at 343, I’m hoping that they can make it last until Halo 5. If it is only a few months, then at least we’ll have the (awesome) new Forge revision and Matchmaking.
I think Spartan Ops will keep us occupied for that 3 year period between Halo games.
If they made a Halo 2 Anniversary I don’t think I’d ever need to buy another videogame again.

I know 343 had plans to remake halo 2. I read somewhere that they want to bring halo 2 upto the 360 but are to busy with halo4,5,and 6 that they don’t see it happening anytime soon. or maybe it was an interview I saw…I can’t remember.
I want 343 to make a Halo: Ghost of Onyx game. Nuff said.
Either Spartan Ops will fill in that time. . . Or better yet, Halo 2 HD.
We don’t need Halo game between Halo 4 and Halo 5. Hell, I don’t even think they should release Halo 4 this year.
I’d rather not release a game on current consoles and then a year from now get next gen consoles. Why? Because I’d be bashing my head against my wall thinking how much better it could of been.
Maybe I’m just -Yoinking!- limited and the next gen won’t release next year and if they do they’ll just optimize Halo 4 for it
