no reason to be aggressive. OP, I don’t really think we will. Given its pulling from CE, I expect we will be told a perspective on what happened and see it evolve from there. Stuff will get fleshed out in other ways, but I do not see a flashback sequence occurring as its not really needed to explain the context we are in.
I would love playable flashbacks, where we get to go through small sections of a couple moments from previous Halo’s. Like a flashback sequence where we do the beach landing on Silent Cartographer, or holding the courtyard at thr beginning of Outskirts. Or the tank run leading up to In Amber Clad landing on the Ark.
I think something like that could be awesome.
Probably some lore detailing what happened between Halo 5 am Infinite.
They said the demo takes place like Midgame, and that there is a continuation of the halo 5 campaign. So I’m sure we’ll find out.

There’s gotta be a flashback. They have got literally 20 years worth of charge Thera to answer for, just throwing us into the middle of it all without saying we’re they went is possibly the stupidest thing they could possibly do.

Throwing us into the middle of it with no real explanation at first worked pretty well for CE 
The mission we saw in the demo is not the first mission but was confirmed to be several hours into the campaign. We will see what happens before hand.

Considering CE did the same thing and games are still being released, I think its safe to say it works.
