Will there be a beta for infinite?

For the people that preordered Infinite will they get a code later this year around say august/September? I hope they do

There’ll be Flighting tests for Halo Insiders. These are basically like betas but specifically for people on waypoint.

You can sign up for Insider on waypoint, only takes a few moments. You’ll receive an email and a waypoint message when flights become available.

Any public betas or pre order betas have not been confirmed.

I keep getting the insider emails but when I installed the insider app on Xbox it wouldn’t let me participate

I believe they would do a beta however, as 343 Industries stated that the beta for Halo 5 was very beneficial for them and Halo 5’s development. Even if we do get a reduced beta I still have confidence in the team as a competitive esports team has been reportedly helping Infinite’s multiplayer development. What do you think about a reduced beta in size?

That’s probably something you need to contact Halo Support about on waypoint
Any previews for Infinite will be through Insider programs, best to get it sorted sooner rather than later.

What if I open a beta? Yes, if I open it and it will be through the insider program as they have been doing with MCC

To my mind, they need to hold an open beta.

Multi-platform and free-to-play multiplayer could mean millions of concurrent players (far eclipsing previous Halo games), so load and stress-testing servers, as well as making sure everything else works properly, is essential.

Insiders will have access to the flighting, but as far as I’m aware a public beta hasn’t been confirmed.
