What if their was a firefight map that aloud 16 players to face flood spores with a set amount of deaths. Where as if you die by flood you respawn as a spartan but your dead corps turns flood AI and fires back at you with the guns and abilities you had when you died. So instead of fighting off waves or rounds of enemy’s ( like cod zombies) you would in a way…be fighting your self till their are to many and all lives are lost. I think this is a cool concept 343 should consider I would hope you would agree.

Edit-however you would need a squad of marine bots with you for an additional challenge. Along with pure forms and forerunner combat forms attacking you, infection forms aren’t much of a challenge

Thank you, tank you very much! So yeah iv been hearing word that halo 5 migh have flood come back in their story line but I thought of this concept back when reach first came out but waited to say anything till a new console… that could suport it finally emerged.

Infection spawns are not a problem on their own but what if they were progressive( more over time)…then they might be a challenge
Great idea! There should definitely be the option to face who you want in firefight: Covenant, flood, Prometheans, maybe even humans, with other Spartans as a boss wave.

Flood spores are almost like the face hugger from predator vs alien … The only real difference is that they kill their victims and take over their body instead of using them as hosts. So shooting at them would be a good start;)

I think you’re getting spores confused with the infection forms. Spores are literally so small you would need some sort of microscope to see them.

It would be very nice. Much nicer than another attempt at Spartan Ops. But I’m not counting on it.
