I would really like it if Blue Team made appearances in Halo Infinite as co-op characters. Kind of like what was done in Halo 5, but a lot more classic. Just literal co-op characters. They won’t be there all the time.
343i are very lore focused when it comes to adding mechanics such as that. I don’t think they would do such a thing unless they had a reason for it. From what we have seen so far the Chief seems to be operating alone ao Blue Team are probably off on another mission somewhere. The upcoming book “Halo: Divine Wind” may have some answers.

I did hear, though this was through word-of-mouth so don’t take this as fact, that our multiplayer Spartan’s would be available in co-op. How true this is I am not entirely sure but it would be a great concept.

I think they’ll have some form of presence in the story given their redesign on a book cover.
