Do you think possibly the Precursors will come in very soon, I mean 343 wouldn’t just set up these characters and do nothing with them. We’ll have to see what happens in Silentium.
I bet 10 bucks that they will appear in Halo 5,6.
I’m actually really hoping the precursor storyline kicks in later in the series; that’s a thread the Primordium book really ripped open and left me wanting more.
The imprisoned Precursor that the Didact spoke to was put there by the other Precursors, so perhaps they left the galaxy to escape the Flood, that may have been unleashed by the prisoner. They could have just been waiting for the galaxy to sort itself out or for their enemies, the Forerunners, to meet their doom for betraying the mantle. That may seem fairly lame but I’m still thinking of other reasons they wouldn’t get involved with the galaxy’s affairs…
