Am I the only one that misses the Needle Rifle? I had so much fun with that gun back in Halo: Reach. I like the covenant carbine enough, it’s a fun weapon as well. But that needle rifle…ah the memories! Three needles into flesh, duck for cover, explode. Loved it!
I doubt it’s coming back in Halo 5, but I would love to see it come back eventually!
Seems redundant since it’s more or less the carbine with an added needler feature.
What they should do is just have a legendary carbine REQ that functions like the needler.
One of my least favorite Covenant weapons. The only one I dislike more is the Focus Rifle.

I am also one of those who would love to see the return of the Needle Rifle but I don’t believe it has made it into Halo 5. Not a deal breaker for me or anything and there are other weapons to serve the exact same purpose but it was a neat gun to play around with sometimes.
I really don’t mind the carbine, I just preferred the needler feature. Definitely a fan of a REQ card for the carbine that functions like the needler. That’d be epic and would satisfy my itch…
I hope so! that’s my all time favorite weapon.
It was cool but with so many guns filling the same role they probably don’t need to focus on it so much.

I remember when I first saw the Needle rifle, I imagined it as a kid as a weapon for Halo before it was ever announced as a weapon, absolutely one of my favorite weapons.
