Right now I am at SR123, will there be an increase in the maximum rank or even some sort of prestige option because I tend to stop playing a game if there is no challenge left. Infact there was no challenge in doing it other than putting the time in

That would be one of the hardest achievements out there lol
Not right now but I would think so being 130 is an odd number to have as highest rank and the last specialization stays on your Spartan ID.

well i win then, I’m at 2 mongoose kills and I didn’t boost. ply ctf and try getting complex. go for the sword and and hope you find an idiot on a mongoose because it blows up if you kill the guy with the sword on it

By the time January rolls around, (Title Update time), Halo 4 is going to be littered with SR130’s. The amount of gametime it takes to reach the max rank is extremely low, especially if you play SpOps a ton like some people are doing. I beleive you can reach it in maybe 3-4 days of playtime.
In other Halo’s (Halo 3, Halo Reach) it took grievious amounts of time to reach the highest rank. 5000 exp in Halo 3 for 5 star general, or whatever level class you were in?
They need to extend the rank boundary just so it keeps the game interesting and gives a little more incentive to play longer.
iti is pretty pathetic if all you play for is to see that number go up. it means NOTHING besides getting more perks.
