Will the lip-sync audio bug be fixed in Halo CEA?

In Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary for 360, the remastered cut scenes had some pretty bad audio matching with the actual cutscenes. There was about half a second delay in some cases. Does anyone have confirmation that this will be fixed for MCC? Just a little annoying thing that kinda ruined my immersion of the game.

They said glitches will remain and Halo CE only got a 1080p 60FPS bump so there’s little chance it was fixed. 343i never said anything about such an issue and this is the first I heard about it, not saying it doesn’t exist.

It happened 100% every time I viewed certain parts of cutscenes. I think they just failed to sync up the audio correctly with the cutscenes. You never experienced this on your game?

They said glitches from the original games would remain. The lip sync issue was from the remaster, and should be fixed. Whether or not they fix it though still remains undetermined.

Doubt it seeing as they would have to redo pretty much every cutscene with either cortana or a human in it. Too much work when their main priority is Halo 2 anniversary.

I dunno.
Probably not though.

Hmm. Never noticed it when i played through. I DID notice some of the horrible graphical overlays though. Like remastered rocks or trees not visually representing the objects they are portraying.

I’m hoping the coop is more stable. I could NEVER do the coop in anni because the lag was so bad for one of the people.

I think the lip-sync issue was caused by the heavy load that the CEA engine placed on the 360 not actually a bug.

I hope im right cause that would mean that the problem shouldn’t exist on the MCC

I have never noticed that. They may have but we won’t know until the 11th
