Not necessary, Crimson fits the role of Infinity’s “do everything Spartan” just fine and I like it like that. As much as I like the Chief he’s earned some rest.
Crimson will save the Infinity, Chief maybe will appear latter, but as of now, Crimson and their new toys can save the ship.

I’m sick of the Infinity getting -Yoinked!- up by every single thing that happens in the story, it certainly ruins the idea of it being this gigantic unstoppable ship.

I think Infinity was invaded because Jul wanted to capture Halsey. Notice how it was invaded a literal minute after her conversation with him? I hope they release this episode early like the last one, I’m quite excited to see what happens.
