We know that H6 is in production, Well we Hope H6 is in production. Anyways H6 will have a Fresh new start with the story and Multiplayer. All of this will hopefully be improved because of the Halo community feedback. H5s story was a Dud, but we as humans make mistakes and we learn from those mistakes. Now im not saying H5 was a mistake because H5s multiplayer was insanely good, but I think there could be some improvements. If 343i is able to agree with our community feedback then I think H6 could be a really god game, BUT the real question is will it bring back some original fans and help the Halo community grow. Tell me what you guys and gals think in the comment section below.
Ideally, yes, but, realistically, I’m predicting that it probably won’t.
Most likely.
Who knows if it will grow. What is a certainty, is that Halo 6 will be the first Halo I’m not pre-ordering, and most friends are with me. I’m always optimistic though, time will tell.

Sorry but absolutely no developer should listen to the community 100% of the time. “Our” feedback is very often contradictory and self-serving rather than big picture. You will never get people to agree on stuff completely and at the end of the day, the game is 343’s labor of love. Not ours to dictate to them.

I can agree with that, that not all of the community is 100% right because nobody is perfect and not all advice is the right advice. So yes you are right but they should still listen to the some of the community’s feed back.

Why though? And what part of the community?
They should listen to me because my opinions are better than Ka Five’s. He has bad opinions because he’s a weenie.
…You see how this works and will go?
I think the only game that brought back a lot of original fans was MCC and we all know how that turned out. I see H6 being another H5 with population unless 343 does something amazing, but I’m not getting my hopes up.
I’m not sure whether to be optimistic or not. I was very disappointed in H5. I have not preordered HW2. From the looks of it so far, it sounds like it will be very good. I’m not decided whether I will preorder H6 right now or not.
I’m quite certain no matter what H6 does, it will sell well enough to be among the top 20 most played for a good year or so, simply because it says Halo on it. Whether or not it will be megahit status (like top 2-3 most played), we won’t know for a couple years yet.
343 needs to learn from Halo’s past if they hope to grow the franchise. Go back to how the original games played. The series did nothing but continue to grow from Halo 1 to Halo 2 and from Halo 2 to Halo 3. Then Reach came out when Bungie decided to mess with the gameplay formula. That began the decline. 343 doubled-down on Reach’s mistakes in Halo 4, and the franchise continued to decline. While 343 fixed some of the issues in Halo 4, they expanded upon some other problems. And so, the decline has slowed, but it is still there. If they want to turn that decline around to the point where the franchise actually grows, then they need to turn the franchise around and emulate the Halo games that grew the community.

They need to get rid of the eSports mindset. The idealism behind super-competitive gameplay and a high skill ceiling is an illusion shattered by the fact that they are actually boundaries that restrict enjoyment of the game, especially for new players, which ultimately leads to lower a population. They needn’t design the game entirely around eSports like they did with Halo 5. Classic Halo games were not designed with competitive gameplay in mind; they were designed for fun and the competitive gaming communities still flourished, especially with access to custom game options.

Right mindset, wrong reasoning. It’s good that you follow the golden rule: Your own opinion is right and everyone else’s opinion is wrong, but you don’t understand the reasoning behind that logic. 343 should favor your opinion over Ka Five’s not because he’s a weenie, but because you proved your superiority over him with a sniper rifle. While he was on your team.

Oooooh you’re absolutely right!
Plus? I’m totally cuter.

I think it would be awesome if the Flood came back. I don’t think the Flood would have much impact on whether or not the franchise grows or keeps declining. But, it would still be a very welcome thing to have back.

I don’t know about that. I know a good couple of people that liked the campaign. And also a couple of friends and I are original fans. It’s just the fact that 343 took Halo on a whole new approach. They had amazing ideas it just didn’t go as planned.

Some would say that the return of the Flood would be a detriment to the franchise. Their singular, zerg-rush tactic did little to enchance gameplay in the grand scheme of things; they mainly made some of the most frustrating levels of the campaign. The Library, Cortana, and suchlike. Furthermore, it would make it so that chief’s efforts in destroying the Flood at the end of Halo 3 more or less pointless.
So, I’m curious. Why do you think bringing back the Flood would be a good thing? What do they bring to the table?
Didn’t read any of the comments here, as a forewarning.
I think it’s safe to assume that Halo was a stepping stone. They refined and introduced a lot of features which will likely continue in Halo 6. With that being said, now that the community has grown to live with these changed (whether they like them or not), I reckon that Halo 6 will have a slightly more united following.
People were saying this with halo 5 and halo 5’s campaign was bad so i don’t think this will bring anyone back.

Little late here, but please keep the chat positive.
I think they should listen to what small part of Halo the community generally agrees on. Not the deeply divided topics such as Sprint, Spartan Abilites, or microtransactions. Examples of some generally agreed-on topics are Split-screen, Playable Elites, and Undersuits.
