Title for reference.
I know that the graphics and cutscenes are getting major overhauls. But I havent seen a mention of the OST. I loved the remastered versions of CE’s OST. And considering that Halo 2 has my favorite OST, I would like for somebody to answer the question with a source if possible.
I don’t have a source, but I got a feeling they will remaster it just like they did in CEA.
But I don’t see how they could remaster such a beautiful masterpiece.
I should hope that they just boost the quality of the music, but I still want it to distinctly be Halo 2 and Marty’s music.

I have the same feeling too, but official confirmation would be greatly welcome.
Yes it’s a beatiful masterpiece, but if they play their cards right and remaster it CE style its definitely possible that the end result will be amazing.
Makes me wonder. If they do remaster the OST how will they handle ‘Halo 2 Mjlonir mix’ and ‘Reclaimer’. Steve Vai is a freakin’ monster on the guitar so I imagine it would be hard to step up to that. Also, I was not to fond of the guitar work on “Rock Anthem to Saving the World” on the Remasterd CEA OST.
Apparently, this time around, when you switch to old graphics, the music and weapon sounds switch to the original as well.
As long as they keep “Blow me Away” just like it is, I don’t care what the rest sounds like.

This, They have remastered the sounds and when you switch graphics it switches sound effects and music too/
