Will the Gears of wars save me from 343?

I have given 343 so many chances to do a decent job with halo 5; but i feel with every step they take forward its also 3-5 steps back. I am just wondering if the new gears will save me from the anger that 343 creates within my soul.

I like Halo 5, but am definitely looking forward to the fall games lineup.

I’m looking forward to Battlefield 1 and the remaster of CoD4. I think those will do nicely to distract me from 343’s games.

Halo 5 just isn’t worth my time to play because of how drastically different it plays from the classic Halo games, and MCC is so -Yoink!- frustrating to try and get a large enough party together for customs(since matchmaking is still pretty awful).

I guess we will see. The Coalition seems to know what they are doing for the most part(though I do question the thought process of bringing robots into a franchise where the iconic weapon is a rifle with a chainsaw bayonet…).

That being said, I thought the exact same thing about 343 at the beginning. It really did seem like they were able to ‘get it’, but things quickly went downhill after a promising start. I hope the Gears fanbase fairs better than we have with a new developer after getting their own black sheep in the form of Judgement.

phew i thought i was one of the only people that was upset about seeing reskined promethians in gears of war…
