Will the Flood playlist ever have updates?

The Flood playlist has never had any sort of update. This includes:
-New gametypes
-New maps
-Nerfing of abilites, guns, traits
Do you think the Flood playlist will ever have some kind of update? Will it get new maps? DLC? Community Flood maps? New gametypes?

I would LOVE an answer so I can explain this to 343i!

The new map pack would look so cool foe flood the landfall map looks pretty crazy for flood

i was hoping 343 could remove the ability for the flood to slide off the walls when using TP. really annoying.

I don’t know when it will get an update, but it certainly needs one. At this point I never even consider playing it, and I used to love Infection in Halo, but the official playlist has gotten progressively worse over the past games.

New Gametype where its like classic infection, and nerf the flood most definitely, the lunge is ridiculous. And yea, definitely more maps and Gametype changes.

Yes! Evade = unfair, but there are ways to counter it. Hope for the best of 343i!

At a glance I read the topic as “WILL THE FOOD PLAYLIST EVER HAVE UPDATES?”… I was confused. Food fight anyone?

If you are interested in the Flood character model being changed, perhaps updated, to include a model that can carry weapons as well, would that go under New Abilities or Gametypes?

I would like to see any of these options added to the Flood honestly, but you can not really nerf Thruster Pack I do not think, since the thrusters power is based off Movement Speed :/. Flood is fun, especially in Custom Games, Custom Games more so than the Matchmaking variant.

I never cared for infection really. I like Flood even less. The game type Infection however offered a lot more options for some crazy 1 v all games like Hot Pursuit.

If they add maps that really had the creepy feeling and the game wasn’t so campy I would like Flood better.

Halo 3s’s maps and towards the end of Halo Reach infection maps became a lot better.

@SilentRaine - A new character model would probably be included in a new gametype alongside Flood.

@CrazedSpartanII - Yes, I must agree Infection has faded away. Community = more happy people, and a lot of fun for all!

@D3MIN 8 - That does not mean it cannot have updates! All playlists deserve updates. Poor 'Ol Flood though… :frowning:
