343 may have revealed the flood in there sound recording
I hope so, but it’s anyone’s guess at this point. The supposed Flood sounds are from the pug I’m assuming. However, those noises could just as easily be grunt noises.
I could see it being added, but it would probably be very minor or just a callback to the Flood having a presence in the previous games.

The flood need to come back yes. They are hinted on still being around quite abit so it makes sense. After all halos are all about the flood, and there really isnt much mystery left in halo after the forerunner reveal ext. The flood can be the key to understanding so much more interesting stuff. Also having more different types of stuff to fight is always welcome. Just dont over use the flood like they did in halo 2.
it is Zeta halo so its possible but those sound recordings could also be a grunt.

It would be weird to have a game take place on a Halo ring and not have the Flood in it.
I hope there is. Also there is a lot of lore in the books discussing zeta halo (the ring at the end of H5 legendary) that discusses the flood on zeta halo.
I would probably be more surprised if the flood were not in the game than if they were. The flood are very important to Halo’s whole narrative set piece - particularly because the Halo’s exist as the flood counter measure.
With Halo Infinite being a “spiritual reboot” I would be surprised if the flood are not an integral part of it.
I agree it may be grunt sounds from the recording . But if the flood will be in halo 6 if u get infected u should become flood unlike halo 1 & 2
