I’m talking the spartan II’s and Spirit of fire. Do you think anything from Halo wars 2 will make it into Halo infinite?

I think Halo Infinite is purely taking place on Zeta Halo. Whilst HW2 characters are on the Ark. So they’re keeping these stories separate.
I’d be surprised if there isn’t lore or references to Atriox and then occupying the Ark. Although Halo Wars 2 itself is very cagey with providing State of the Galaxy information. So they might not say much more than we already know. They seem keen to avoid writing themselves into a corner.
If there’s no Halo Wars 3 we are probably going to see this resolved in a book, or it ties in to events very far down the road.
I am more curious about how they’re going to explain Anders and that other Halo ring being taken by the Guardians. If they are going with Cortana being gone and them all being disabled that a very awkward cliffhanger.
If you read Shadows of Reach and Divine Wind you kind of get an update on how several HW2 characters are doing. Could potentially see some of them popping up in Infinite or later games.

I’m still confident that they are going to replace the infinity with the spirit of fire in the campaign. But I’m biased toward that so I’m a bad person to ask.

One of my favorite ships in Sci-Fi. There is just something about its name, logo, and the gumption of the crew that makes it so cool.

I’ve gotten through about a third of the new novel, Divine Wind.
I can already tell there is going to be connections.

After seeing Atriox appearing as a hologram in the Halo Infinite campaign overview, it is very likely that 343 Industries will start planning to bring in characters like Jerome-092, Ellen Anders and James Cutter to the Halo Infinite main storylines and the Halo Infinite story expansions.
@BreezyStarfish1 I was was going to mention this as well.
No spoilers, but you get a brief glimpse of the happenings on the Ark right after HW2’s end.
Troy Denning is a great author, and I feel that his work is what is driving the main continuity in the expanded universe.

I’d love a conclusion story for the Spirit of Fire be it their own game still, Halo Infinite or another game down the line.
I very much doubt were gonna hear much about the spirit of Fire in much sense maybe a reference or something but nothing else in Halo Infinite.

Don’t expect much. I think the Spirit of Fire cross-over will happen in the next game (assuming there will be a next game)
