What are thoughts? I could see it taking some people away.
ive heard a lot of ppl say they are going to be playing it when it comes out, but ive also heard a lot of ppl say so far the alpha and beta sucked so i doubt it will really hurt the population.
Undoubtedly.
People can only play one game at once, and aren’t bound to a single one. The Division has been incredibly hyped leading up to release, and will more than likely become one of Xbox’s most popular for at least a few weeks.
However, the game’s final quality will determine if it will keep a large number of players in the long run.
I was hyped for division, then I played Alpha and Beta.
People who hate spawn killing and boss stealing in warzone will absolutely hate the division once they enter the dark zone.
People said that about Fallout and how it was the end of Halo. At the end of the day, people will come back and I don’t expect the population to change dramatically.

Yeah I played the Beta and the shooting mechanics were terrible.
It might have a noticeable effect on Destiny, but I doubt it’ll do much to the populations of games like Halo or CoD that aren’t part of that genre of shooters.

I quit Destiny for this game, never looked backed since.

How did you get that green lol thing below your pic?
Doesn’t not every new game that comes after Halo 5 hurt population? I don’t thing people buy new game to stare at them on their shelfs. Doea not mean they won’t come back to Halo.
When DOOM and Mirror’s Edge come out in May you wont see me on Halo for a while.
no, the division looks like a ship ready to sink on it’s maiden voyage if you ask me.

I don’t know, I stopped playing regularly after Halo 5 came out, but I still enjoyed the gameplay for what it was. Both it and Halo 4 are the only two games that kept me playing regularly at least a year after release. I guess that means I’m an abomination.
Halo 5 will start dying out in June
omg no division looks boring af
I haven’t heard or seen anything that will make me want to play The Division personally.
They probably hyped it enough to get 8 year olds that only play whatever is popular or considered the next big thing.
I think most Halo players are Halo and Scifi fans, so I don’t see it affecting the vast majority of the Halo 5 population.
Every games population takes a hit when a new games out. so yes it will drop but pick up again later on
I think summer sunshine/warm weather will hurt more than anything. It’s easy to sit for hours and play when it’s frigid cold outside. It’s already 70 and sunshine where I live, and my Halo time has fallen off a cliff. My son downloaded The Division beta on PC. Looked ok but kinda generic. I don’t see it becoming the new “must have” game.
It’s funny how one of these threads pop up with nearly every game release

You monster!
I would also like to add that the Division has nothing really unique going for it, so it’s not really give me a reason to play.
