I do not have any sources to back my words, but I am quite confident that the classic helmets will be available in normal REQ packs after the specialty pack goes away. It’s usually been the case for all Halo 5 content updates.
Gold packs can get you: MK. V Delta, Recon GEN1, EVA GEN1, Security GEN1, and Military Police
Silver packs can get you: Operator GEN1, CQB, EOD, and Pilot

In the latest Community Update (or maybe it was a tweet), a “Classic Helmets” REQ pack was mentioned. Not sure if Ske7ch was reffering to a limited time pack or that they will be available in gold packs.

I’ve actually been wondering this myself. I was curious if I can get all REQ (100% on each category) or if ultimately my OCD will be triggered by gold packs giving me REQ back while not having everything in the game. Is ‘everything’ attainable via gold packs ‘right now’ (so pre-helmets launching)?

No. The Esport Team skins (such as CLG) are only in the Esport packs. Each is $10, so you will have to fork over a lot of money for that %100

Also worth noting that the CLG skins are no longer available for purchase.
Not sure all I know is that there will be a pack that contains them, I’m not sure if that’s like one of the previous updates that had limited time ones and could get them from gold packs also.

Ske7ch said this earlier (I think) in the week, but he didn’t mention the cost of the pack. The question now is A.) how do you pay, money or REQ points and B.) How much it will cost.
When the helmets come out, I’ll take the plunge and buy a Silver pack to see if we can get any of the helmets that way.

Thank you for the information Moa.
I will definitely ‘not’ buy the other packs (once I’m done with gold grind) knowing that ultimately there will still be a couple blanks for CLG skins. I’m probably dumb enough, while drinking, to buy them all if I could see the 100%. I ultimately want to support Halo & my obsessive collecting nature (: I’m a little late to the Halo 5 party (was playing MCC and other games) so just figuring all this out.
I would have dove in and bought others without know about the CLG gap if not for your post.

They made a special REQ pack for the Memories of Reach armor and made it available in Gold packs at the same time.

Yeah I think it will be like the memories of reach pack. The special pack will more likely be 100,000rp or $9.99, that will be the “guaranteed” option to get them for those who don’t have every thing unlocked. But for those of us with everything we should be able to open three gold packs and get the helmets instead of rp back.
