I enjoyed the 60 round magazine in Combat evolved I also enjoyed having 600 rounds on me as well.

Imagine how bulky your Spartan would be carrying 20 Thirty Round magazines of 7.62 (600 rounds).

A 60 Round magazine of 7.62 is rather unrealistic.

It’s a video game… who cares about realism? Why doesn’t the Warthog turret run out of ammo?

There’s plausibility, and then there’s simulation realism.

Perhaps for balancing reasons. Do you like that answer better?

How about no. That seems way to ridiculous. With that size of a mag, accuracy doesn’t matter anymore.
