Will Spartan Ops help sales?

I know this is a weird question but I think it will help.

This is the way I look at it… Halo 4 is going to be advertised weekly for months on the Xbox Live Game Add On’s section. When I see a game that has loads of free dlc I start to get a swayed opinion on whether or not I should purchase the game. When people see that Halo 4 has essentially (what will look like) $30+ worth of “free” dlc do you think it could bring more people into the Halo universe? I think that it’s going to help out.

Of course, it’s one of the features. But I don’t think it will be like, download this content DLC, on the dashboard.

They haven’t talked about the delivery system so I’m not sure how it will work.

I read that you’ll need to be online to play it and the Gold membership requirement supports that theory

so it could be just a patch to the server like the monthly update in Reach

Its possible .

Im sure some will pick it up just for that and hopefully they start playing MM and enjoy halo altogether

I doubt you’ll have to be online at all times in order to play Spartan Ops. It’s probably more like this: you need to be online to download the newest episodes. Once you have them, though, they are yours. This is just speculation, though.

I’m certain that at least some people will be drawn in for Spartan Ops. I think that the more variety in the game, the more people that will give it a whirl. And like F U N Z B O B said, hopefully it will draw people into War Games.
