Will some Precursors show up in Silentium?

Do you think that it’s possible that a few Precursors could show up at some point in Silentium? 343 and Greg Bear have said that this book will explain the difference between the Primordial and other Graveminds.

There will definitely be a fair bit of talk about them.

I personally feel yes , most definitely !

But I feel not in the way we would hope …I mean by ’ showing up that the Didact and the Librarian learn exactly what the Flood/Precursor connection is .

My theory - The Flood is an extension / bio weapon of the Precursors telepathically controlled from afar to exact revenge on the forerunners and execute the Precursors will in the galaxy . ( Tier 0 for a reason ) .

Just my personal theory mind .

As I’ve said before … I wish I was a personal friend of Greg Bears so I could take him to a bar and get him intoxicated so he blabs as Silentium is to far away from release !!

The Primordial “claims” he was a Precursor it was never proven that he/it was one.

Depends on what happens in Halo 4. Silentium is supposed to be “lousy with spoilers for Halo 4.”

“The Flood arrive in force, aided by unexpected allies”.
(Or something like that)

It’d be an awesome twist if the legendary Precursors themselves (or a new, even more insanely evil Precursor creation) arrive aiding the Flood in their final assault on the Forerunners.

The Didact and Librarian share a solution, but there isn’t enough time to execute it. The Array is fired, destroying the Flood and temporarily defeating the Ancient Evil (Precursors, Insane Precursor Creation).

Meanwhile, all evidence of this Precursor intervention vanishes, except for the information of those who witnessed it… the Didact perhaps? This is why the Precursors weren’t mentioned by Offensive Bias or the Didact in the terminals… something got in and corrupted the data. Similar to how information in the Domain would strangely disappear or change.

Its all leading up to the re-awakening of an Ancient Evil. They’ve been setting the stage for the testing of Humanity (or destruction… because they somehow failed the test) for millenia. Now, maybe even the Didact has been corrupted.

That’s mad good speculation !! Just gave me even more food for thought and I’ve struggling with the current plate .

Thank you !

Who knows, we could even find out that the precursors are merely a more ancient and yet hidden civilizations weapon
