I’ve been thinking about Halo 2, and how we were introduced to a larger array of Sentinels. For example, we had the giant Enforcers that could pick up your vehicle, and basically deal massive damage to everything around them. Then in Halo 3 Sentinels were back to their simple Halo 1 ranks.
Anyone who has read Ghosts of Onyx will know that Sentinels are by far much more menacing than they were made out to be in the games. Joining together to create more powerful and diverse forms. And the fact that they can collaborate to become more than just weapons. Considering Reqium is a Shield World as was Onyx, wouldn’t it seem plausible that we are introduced to a much larger and diverse Sentinel fleet than ever before seen in a Halo game? I sure hope so.
I would say so. Honestly, there are so many different types, 343 should expanded the types.
Sounds like they’d be in H4
I haven’t finished Ghosts of Onyx yet but from what I’ve read so far, Sentinels could make a hell of a lot of interesting obstacles.
It would only make sense. It wouldn’t surprise me if we were introduced to another monitor by some chance, although if I can remember correctly, shield worlds were not assigned their own individual caretakers.

Actually, the Sentinel variety was killed in H3. H1 also had unshielded Sentinels. Every sentinel in H3 is shielded afaik.
It’s a Forerunner shield world, so naturally i would say yes.
Something about that new enemy, the Watcher, screams " New Sentinel!" but maybe that’s just me.
Contains spoiler RE: Halo Cryptum
I don’t think Sentinels would be trusted after what happened to the Forerunner capital.
Sure, they were under the command of MB, but I can’t see the Forerunners so willingly
putting themselves at the mercy of A.I. again.
Just my opinion, I’d like to be wrong and fight them again.
