I hope so but its highly doubtful. We are getting a drop pod next month that seems like it will have cross core visors which is pretty disappointing i would of much rather had cross core coatings. I thought S2 was also supposed to have more playlists added in and out throughout but so far it seems like its been the same stuff for awhile.
How can 343 continue these 6 month seasons with little to no major updates/content in between? Honestly at this rate at the end of the 10 year cycle infinite might be a good game at that point. Its laughable. Also 343 is back to no communication whatsoever no update on forge which will probably be delayed no update on progression system.
343 needs to hurry up before its too late which it might already be.
No it will not be the start of three month seasons.
For the sake of the game it better be. Doubt the game would survive another 6 month season of just a new bp 2 new maps a new weapon and thats pretty much it.
It certainly needs to be, for the game’s sake.
If 343 had taught us anything it’s that we cannot trust their words, so why would I give them any value when even they are using vague words like “target” and “hope”?
343 lost all my trust with the botched launch of MCC. How players continue to allow themselves to get hyped up is mind boggling. How many examples do they need to give us?
So, all that is to say that no, I don’t think season 3 will start the 3 month seasons for a second. I’ll believe it when i see it.

AND they should rework the shop so that it can finally give us the “cut content” of Season 1
I doubt there will be a 3 month season, with co-op, forge, coming plus all the bug fixing, and cross core which will take time to implement, and new progression system along with desync issue & all the other things, be lucky if we get a 3 month season till end of next year, and I hope I’m wrong, but realistically speaking I’m just taking it as they 6 month seasons now.
I doubt it, knowing 343 and pretending I was in their shoes, it would be another 6 month season. I would imagine Season 4 would be the first truly “caught up” season. Maybe even a re-launch.
Whatever happens, after this narrative event, no July drop pod, an unfinished campaign and multiplayer, it is hard for me to be excited about anything now.
Season 3 is going to be the continuance of 343 disappointing us, failing to explain away their incompetence by using PR garbage speak, most likely adding things nobody asked for while ignoring the things everyone wants, those missing Reach pieces? Nah, not even a mention. No groundbreaking new gamemodes, no old ones either. What’s infection? 343 would release a mode called “triage” where your spartans slowly try and shuffle away from a guy who keeps coughing in a hospital waiting room. “Dont you guys like what we did? Isnt this new and innovative? Why do you hate us so much?” They’ll try and fail to reinvent the wheel like they always do and end up with a worse product instead of just giving us what we want, which is more of the old.
I wouldnt put it past 343 to do an entire season of just nameplates and visors. That’s how tonedeaf they are to the community’s wishes.
