Will "Reach" digital work?

Now that the XBone is playing Xbox 360 titles, does anyone know if the digital version of “Reach” now on my 360 can be transferred over to my XBone…and if so when?

Yes, if you own the digital version of Halo: Reach on your 360, it will become available to install on your Xbox One when the game is added to the backward compatible list.

Microsoft hasn’t yet announced when the game will be made backward compatible, but has said that the title is “on the way”.

Yes any games you own digitally will appear under Ready to install in the Games and Apps screen as soon as they are on the list. But its not on the list yet and there is no ETA on it being added. I hope they rather re-master it in 1080P 60FPS and add it to the MCC.

Oh good because that’s how I have Reach. Thank you for the information.

Yay reach is coming!

I have a feeling it will work beautifully, like the other 360 games that have been ported so far.

I’ve already played several XBOX360 games on my One, such as Fallout 3, and it runs amazingly.

I really love Reach as right away it gets you immersed into a great story line. But real life took over around the same time it came out so I never got to get thru the entire campaign! Now I have the time and I’m making my way thru it while reading the novelization, ( The Fall of Reach ), at the same time! The combination of the two mediums is great, and together they make this version very addictive. It’s the only one as a matter of fact, that I can’t wait to get back to each day. I wish they would release a Halo game and book with lots of Halo Channel tie-ins like they tried to do with Guardians. The only reason it doesn’t quite make it now is that the story they’re trying to tell is simply too much for one version. They need next time to not let the game get away from them because too much is there to be assimilated at the same time. The very detailed story and game play based on a particular event that makes it easier to wrap our heads around with all the flavor they can manage to support it is what we need!.

Yes, it should work just fine that way.
