I’m sure many of you have run into a team like the one above before. From what I have heard, this is how most people get into champion; by playing with a smurf account and dominating people who have no chance.
To be perfectly honest, I’ve done it before too:
I initially made an alternate account out of curiosity about bronze-level play in swat, and to have fun by playing swat without guns.
A friend of mine had the idea to play with her main and my alt, and used it to boost her into champ, and we then helped out another friend the same way.
I personally will not boost my own rank this way; I am proud of my ability to solo queue into diamond each season.
The way matchmaking balances the teams is good in theory, but in practice it’s just broken, at least at high-level play. In what world is three champions a fair match for two diamond, a plat, and a gold? Even if that was a real bronze player and not a smurf, the champs would dominate on their own.
No champ would ever play with a bronze player, so matching should not take the bronze on their team into account. Or, set in a limit so that champs will never play against anyone lower than high-diamond.
Also:
Please bring back all the maps to swat. You can keep molten away, and take the spawn-trap mess of Pegasus with you, but bring back all the others that were taken out without a really good reason.
It’s pretty funny that the kid is rockin the 343 skin. After all he’s Champ in their game, and he’s a cheater. I’ve brought this up as have many others here. Ske7ch has addressed it here and hopefully they will be implementing some barriers to boosting: Ske7ch/ZaedynFel thread
I just do not understand how anyone could want to get to Champ that way, and I never will. What’s the point? It’s a strange world.
this is already in the works, however, 343 claims its “impossible to fix”. I been reading the matchmaking update and josh claims somparts can be fixed but some cant. i believe this issues is easy to fix. take for example warzone, they can easily restrict an entire fireteam for a warzone playlist for solo and another for full teams. for arena they can do the same as well by blocking unbalanced raked between fireteams like onyx and bronze/silver.i just dont know why they wont make these changes.
It might help if you could only link one account to one gold subscription instead of TEN. That wouldn’t stop everybody, but I’m sure as hell not buying 2 subscriptions just to have a second account
Smurf accounts and boosting coupled with the fact that if someone does exponential work in custom games, they will still be ranked close to their previous seasons rank.
