I think it’s something we need to think about for H5 — are prometheans susceptible to Flood Infection?
No they are not organic
Promethians are not biological they are technological so no.
That was the reason they were created in the first place, to combat the flood without being able to be infected.

No, in fact that was the whole point of the Promethians (as explained by the terminals). They’re not “organic”, therefore they’re not susceptible to Flood infection.
That was easy.

Didn’t the Prometheas fail to halt the spread of the Flood, though? And hasn’t other canon fiction indicated that the Flood Graveminds can and do interact with high technology? Even controlling it at times?
They can’t infect Prometheans in the traditional sense, but they can probably overwhelm them with sheer numbers. And once a Gravemind forms, all bets are off imo.

Yeah, exactly this, wasn’t that the whole point?
Also, please don’t give 343 ideas. I’m sick of the Flood; they had their place in the original trilogy’s story arc but I’d be happy to never fight them again.
No.
No prometheans were built for one purpose and to combat the flood they were made so they can’t be infected.

Well something tells me that the flood make the campaigns more interesting and fun, just look at CE, H2, H3. Then look how boring and short were Reach and H4. Quarantine Zone from H2 was such an epic level.
The Gravemind 100,000 years ago convinced Mendicant Bias to change sides, so I think that, with enough time, Prometheans could theoretically either be persuaded to fight alongside the Flood, or could be manually reprogrammed.
Indeed, they could be manipulated somehow by a proto-gravemind hacking some important system
