I’m beyond tired of the HCS doubles playlist in Halo 5. I like a lot of things about the playlist, don’t get me wrong, but I want weapon variety! I want map variety! HCS is all pistol wars all the time. If I want this, I’ll just play octagon with my friends.
Very disappointing that your not rotating the “normal” doubles playlist and HCS one anymore. All of us has stopped playing Halo 5 HCS doubles playlist (some even Halo) as we just find it boring now.

As it has been said in ever single thread where this request pops up, the Competitive playlists should have the competitive settings. “Normal” doubles, with Spartan charge, ground pound, busted radar, busted splinter nades, autos etc do not belong in the competitive areas of the game.

The Magnum, BR, DMR, Light rifle, Hydra, rockets, plasma caster, plasma pistol, Tac Mag, boltshot, shotty, and sniper don’t cut it for you?

The maps outside of competitive aren’t good enough to be used for the competitive playlists. A lot of them are one sided, or far too set up heavy. There is a reason why those maps don’t cut the mustard mate.
Stop pleading for 343 to lower the skill floor for you in doubles. If you find balanced maps and guns boring, might I suggest the super fiesta party playlist? It has all the map and weapon variety you want.

Just because a playlist has radar and stuff, doesn’t mean it’s not competitive. People like you that say that I just don’t understand. Your pretty much saying that all ranked playlists should be HCS settings and that’s fine but, I disagree and so do a lot of other people. I don’t feel like it is lowering the skill floor at all. Yes, I could definitely do without ground pound and Spartan charge but everything else I’m fine with. I’m fine with having the odd automatic weapon as long as the map isn’t littered with them. I like maps that are non-symmetrical and such. I have no problems with no radar or radar. I also disagree that some of the other maps aren’t competitive enough as I feel like they are or could be with subtle tweaks like they did in the FFA playlist.
Don’t tell me to go play super fiesta or talk to me like I’m some type of scrub, because you are, as I don’t like super fiesta, I hate the randomness. It’s fun to mess around with your friends sure but that’s it. Normal doubles and Team Slayer has all the variety of maps and weapons (BTB would But that playlist has been gutted and destroyed) I like but now I’m just forced to play Team Slayer and that’s it.
So until 343 either give an explanation or go back to rotating the two, which I had no problem with at all, myself and others like me will be asking. So either get used to it and don’t bother replying threads like this, simple as that.
