As this page is finally available, the error code concludes the reasoning to why many people with older intel CPUs and quite a few AMD CPUs are incompatible with the game, and wouldn’t be able to get past that error code. That reason is due to them lacking support for SSE 4.1. So my question is simple, will CPUs that don’t support SSE 4.1 ever be able to play the game? And if so, how long will that be?
This is one of the issues that it would be nice to have an answer on. It’s been reported that some other AAA games such as NoManSky launched with the lack of support for devices without sse4.1 support.
I am currently thinking about whether or not to buy 14nm now or wait for 10nm in 2017. That being said I would much prefer that the game support the older cups and allow me to hold out a little longer.

Did they eventually support those CPUs? If so, how long did that take?
