As the title says that is the question.
“Will multiple players be able to do online multiplayer on the same 360?”
Both my GF and I love to play Halo together and the option for us to play on the same 360 is a rather financialy helpful feature, (have a baby due in Nov =D)
Any info on this would be helpful.
I don’t know for sure. But it does seem to be an important feature to Bungie. I would expect it.

Yes. It was in the Beta and is a feature that has been in every Halo FPS.
Edit: if you both have separate gamertags, you may need to confirm that both profiles have valid XBL subscriptions, as users cannot share online subscriptions. If you don’t have two subscriptions, simply have one valid profile sign-in and then have the other user select “Xbox Live Guest”.
You may play up to 4 players on one system in Custom Games and Matchmaking, though for Firefight and Campaign, I’m pretty sure that its still limited to 2 player split-screen.
Unless your baby wants to play, you’ll be alright. 
Campaign Co-Op I belive is still two players max.

Firefight, I think is also limited to two players.
You could in the Beta, and i dont think there is any way Bungie wouldn’t include it in the final game, escpecially considering it was in H3. I would be very surprised if you couldnt.
Well you could in nearly every game right up untill the beta…
And i doubt Bungie would take that away, as it seems to be a major marketing tool for games these days.
I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see about the Campaign and firefight… I hope up to 4 player co-op can be done with FF.

at several Bungie panels where they showcased firefight, they said something like up to 3 of your friends can be elites while one of you can be a spartan" so that means 4 player

I don’t believe that is possible, since Campaign and Firefight run off of the same coding/networking. So since Co-Op is maximum of two, I think it is safe to say Firefight will be the same way.
That’s what i thought but can you use your custom SPARTAN soldier in the Campaign and Firefight modes? I heard you can…
