Will Multi-Team Ever Return?

Multi-team was one of my favourite playlists in Reach and I absolutely adore this playlist.

My concerned question is, will it actually return?

343 Industries seems to have for whatever reason made it so that Halo 4 has a very little amount of playlists compared to other Halo games.

I am just a little sad that I don’t have a lot to choose from in Halo 4, I mainly just float around Dominion, Big Team Infinity Slayer, and SWAT.

They’re bringing back Team Doubles and Grifball, but I’m sure they’ll take something away too.

I just hope there’ll be a day when it’s actually difficult to decide on what to play, instead of turning the Xbox off because I’ve exhausted all options and have gotten bored.

I stil love the game though!

Multi team was always a good playlist. Nice to change it up from the other gametypes.

If it does show up, 343 will pull it after a week and we won’t see it again.

I doubt it. 343 seems more inclined to make playlists based on specific game types rather than broad playlist. For example they CTF, Oddball, and they used to have KotH instead of simply having a object playlist. The exception to this rule is The DLC playlist which is described as “6v6 Objective based Game types” however 50% of the time players will vote for slayer.

Multi team is the reason why I have spent 52 days and sone hours on halo reach… Its also the reason why as of right now, Im playing reach/3 and not halo 4. Every week I check the Halo bulletin, hoping it gets announced, but I get dissapointed errytime :(. Anyways Im sure they’ll add it, but theyll remive itt after only ine week just to troll us. I feel like halo 4 is bringing the series backwards :’(

I really hope so, since I’ve always loved multi-team. I’m not sure if I prefer teams of 2 or 3 though, since it works quite well both ways. Having a playlist to go to when you were playing with two other friends was always nice, but having 6 different teams of 2 going at each other was quite hectic and fun as well.

343 have really dropped the ball on playlists I find. Two months in and there is still not a basic FFA playlist. I don’t understand why this would not be available from launch. There has been no mention on multi-team. I hope that it comes around at some point, but as it is right now in the next month they are implementing a forge-map playlist, grifball, then team doubles. FFA and snipers are being kept in mind afterwards as well. It may be a while for multi-team yet if it happens at all.

Teams of 3 would be best since there’s no Brown or Pink. Instead it’s Lime and a light blue (Cyan?), and that would be kinda confusing.

If you played Reach or Halo 3 you’d know brown and pink were not colors use. The team colors are Orenge, Green, Blue and Red. So know that does not matter

yep, multi team is my favorite gametype and thats what i always played in halo 3 and reach. non competitive, really enjoyable going for objective, fast paced style of usually seeing another player 5 seconds after spawning. i really hope its added sooner rather than later. honestly thats the one playlist i can count on to genuinely have fun and not get bored of. without it, i juggle between working on ordnance commendations in btb and random oddball matches. i need some good ol multi team!

Multi Team has to return. I loved it in Halo 3 and Reach. Just too much fun.

And Multi Team was the main reason why getting my Inheritor in Reach was so bearable.

Multi team used to be my favourite playlist in halo 3, didn’t feel the same in halo reach with the extra players, but that could work in halo 4. Would definitely support multi team returning in any form. This game is really missing those fun ‘party’ playlists like multi team, griffball and fiesta.

Grifball is coming on the 28th, so that’s a step in the right direction, but we really need Multi Team and Action Sack. Right now, Oddball’s the only remotely fun playlist. (And it’s really not that fun.)

I would play more Halo 4 compared to now if it gets added. o;

Multi-team is the best party playlist, so much fun to just jump in and enjoy the fast paced chaotic action.

I’m sure it’ll return, many of the maps I’ve seen in forge have spawns for purple and green teams.

My biggest problem is that Halo 4 playlists have such little variance and quantity, that they can’t even arrange them into different categories.

I think Reach nailed playlists. I never found myself without something to do.

I thought that the cycling system for playlists would work, but it really doesn’t do anything useful. :frowning:

I absolutely hate the feeling of playing a playlist that I love, and being terrified as to if I’ll even be able to play it the next week…

> If it does show up, 343 will pull it after a week and we won’t see it again.

It depends on how popular it is.
And to be honest, Multi-Team’s kinda’ dumb.
I can’t imagine it being popular enough to make permanent like SWAT.

But Action Sack would be!
I played tons of it in Halo 3 and Reach.

Indeed, I’m not sure why 343 does this, they could’ve easily looked at how popular the playlists were in Reach and transfer similar playlists over to Halo 4.
