Really sucks you cant play with friends more then one time before something goes wrong (if your lucky enough to play at all) come one 343 and microsoft figure this out asap! Everyone who bought this game on day one got burned bad…
Agreed. I don’t see it as a major issue, it’s day one after all, I just hope it’s at least at the stage where I can join a game soon. Very disappointing birthday tomorrow I’m thinking.
I do expect day one issues and I’m fine with that but the number if problems I’ve come across is pretty frustrating, couple with the fact that it’s borderline unplayable with the search times (four games in four hours???). All of the games I did find lagged badly, my game of CE classic slayer was basically unplayable due to lag.
Have faith they will fix it. You could be in the same boat is me and not be able to play the game at all (CE)
The matchmaking is taking forever!!! However, I have to say I do like the interface and the playlists are solid. Really would like to see a 15 to 45 second matchmaking process. I mean there are plenty of us out there online lol.
Biggest let down from 343 and Microsoft ever. Run a beta so this nonsense doesnt happen. Pay for every halo game and there hasnt been a issue this bad. Been almost 24 hours and it still isnt fixed. Kind of a joke. I might be over reacting but i dont know whats wrong with it because they arent telling us…just seems like -Yoink-. Fed up that i cant play my favorite games of all time on my day off. Thanks for this. Release it when its finished next time. Not worth owning at the moment. Also what the hell is with 1 ranked playlist…of all things on the worst halo…fix please so we can enjoy this collection…
I Agree, as much money as they make and they cant even ensure we can all play customs together on the first day of release? I, myself only bought an xbox one for Halo 2 coming back from a decade ago. It just shows how much of an embarrassment 343 can really be right now. They are terribly slow and unresponsive to the public. Its sad because they cant even do their job correctly and the public wastes their money on continually supporting this -Yoink- hole of a company. Ever since 343 got involved its been downhill since the beginning and I am sure more than millions agree with that. Its pitiful its my only day off to enjoy this -Yoink- anniversary, what a horrible launch for a game. CoD Makes us look like -Yoink- right now Halo Universe.

I feel to say, “they don’t care” is pretty irrelevant.
Dedicated servers is a big step for a game to take, obviously with the large amount of players, DLs etc there was bound to be issues (just like any game launch and any game transferring to DS)
From what I’ve experienced so far in numerous custom games it all seams very pretty promising. Obviously I’m frustrated like everyone else about the mm issues however, this collection has the best intentions to “bring halo back”
My solution would be to give match making a break and sesh custom games until everything is up and running.
Everyone just needs to lay off the hateraid.

I figure that the issues will be fixed at some point and it will all work great. The problem is, how many people will be left playing by that point? It’s been nearly 48 hours in some parts of the world and if it’s not fixed sooner rather than later, a lot of people will just move on to the next shiny new game that comes out and actually works.

Idk people could go to work, cod was down for two days with server issues people still play it. Kiddies just need to relax and get over the instant gratification they want so bad bugs server side happen it shall be fixed. In the meantime go out be productive halo will be their when you get back

I wouldn’t have a problem with waiting for the multiplayer to work properly if the game as a whole worked like it’s supposed to. At the moment, the campaign is extremely buggy for a lot (read most) of people and crashes loading checkpoints, cutscenes and/or the next level. Achievements are not working, and for some people, achievement progress is resetting back to 0%.
I do find it kinda funny though that whilst trying to sound all mature and better than everybody else by calling people that paid a premium price for a defective product kiddies, you completely failed to use the correct version of “there” (not their or they’re) in your final sentence.
Why do people constantly defend broken games and try to justify the fact that something was sold on the premise that it works, when clearly it doesn’t? It is happening more and more often every year and it’s time developers stopped releasing games that don’t work. This would never be acceptable in any other industry and, as such, it should not be acceptable within the games industry.
