With Halo starting to make a comeback, and there being a large focus on MCC, I was wondering if there will be consideration for rewarding players who play MCC in Halo Infinite? I thought the idea of rewarding people Helioskril in Halo 5 was a great idea and would love to see more cross game rewards.
With halo Reach coming to MCC I feel like there is e perfect opportunity to have an armor linked to completing MCC Reach on legendary. I think most people would like Emile’s armor if that was to happen. I also think bringing back helioskrill but keeping it so you can only get it from full legendary completion is a good idea.
Hopefully not. I play games for fun, not because a carrot has been dangled in front of me. I got Helioskrill by completing the MCC on legendary, I didn’t specifically go out of my way to get. I like to be able to earn everything in one game. When I see an armour in a game I expect it to be achievable in the game I’m playing and not three separate games.
I’m not a fan of this, never have been, and I hate pre-order bonuses too, it just tuns it into a game of the have and have nots. Games need to be inclusive, not exclusive. Legendary edition titles should have physical bonuses like statues etc. The in game content should be the same for all editions imo.
I hope not, I generally dislike legacy items for I think that I should be able to complete everything by playing a singular product itself.
And by “completing” I mean that as in completionist way as in absolutely 100% everything.
Ehhhhh I’m like 50/50 on it. On one hand, I like the idea of rewarding players who are loyal to the franchise and put the time in to do these tasks. I’ve gotten every achievement so far on MCC so it’s nice to get rewarded for that effort.
On the other hand, I see where people don’t like the idea of being “locked out” from something.
No, just no, stop wasting my time with “you have to play ““X”” game to get ““x”” item” nonsense! Just stop locking content behind a grind wall for a game you have paid minimum $60 altogether!
I don’t mean it as “hey I bought X game and that means I get X reward in Z game.” It’s more like I put a lot of time into game X and would like to carry something over. I’m coming from the perspective that I put time into a game and then the next game comes out and time spent in the previous game doesn’t matter. I do see the drawbacks of Legacy content and that you lock people out unless they play X game.
