I want to know if I can use them in halo 5s campaign. To get practice and become more acquainted.
The only thing I’ve heard about abilities in campaign pertains to Locke. They’ve said he’ll have his own weapons and abilities that only he can use so perhaps that’s alluding to the new spartan abilities. I haven’t heard anything about Chief being able to use them yet.

Chief is the brute of the Spartans.
I hope locke gets killed by the chief.
you will almost defiantly get to use them as Locke. as the chief… i think some but not all.
Chief does have thrusters in his suit, (end of Shutdown) but they’re likely not as advanced as Locke’s. He couldn’t thrust around on Ivanhoff without that researcher giving him the AA. He might get side-to-side movement and clamber, but not stuff like ground pound.
Chief still has his outdated armor. He can sprint and clamber and use Smart Scope, but cannot Thrust or Ground Pound.

Maybe he’ll find pieces of armor from killed Spartans but, only be able to use one augment at a time. It would be nice for him to get upgraded armor instead of still being in his old -Yoink-. Chief needs a new look.

He already got a new look though…
It’d be interesting if Chief doesn’t have them whole Locke does. It’d be a nice visual metaphor for how Locke (a Spartan-IV) is more advanced than Chief’s outdated and old armor.

Because they are part of the new armour.

To be fair, not necessarily all. Definitely not slide, charge and clamber. And I believe the Chief still has thrusters.
