Will loyal Halo fans get anything?

On some games, players that have done certain requirements in other games of the series were given little bonuses to say thanks.

Will Halo 4 have this? I like how in Reach, players with certain achievements from Halo 3 and ODST were given 2 different helmets with cool attachments.

Well, I thought that maybe people who had completed H3, ODST and Reach or had 50+ milestone on Waypoint should have some reward for our loyalty. Maybe some helmets or armour pieces/sets.

Anyone else agree?

Well, my milestone is only 42, so I DISAGREE!!!

But in all seriousness, yeah, I would love for that to come back.

(If only Halo Wars didn’t count as a Halo game, everyone would be so much happier with their Waypoint milestones :D)

I’ve never even touched Halo Wars, or even the anniversary, but have 51 as I have every achievement in Halo 3, almost all in ODST (including vidmasters and legendary), and all in Reach (excluding anniversary).

Obviously people with different requirements should get different content, like in Reach we had helmets and attachments for certain achievements.

I am a Halo Veteran! I deserve free stuff!!! I’ve played all the Halo’s!!!

Sacrilege!!!

I think some exclusive armor, emblems, or weapon skins would be nice.
Maybe not base it off milestones but getting campaign complete achievements. Then each respective game giving you a little something different?
Thoughts?

I got my Live account right before Reach, so I actually had to go back and get the cheevos for Halo 3 and ODST, and will probably never get all of the ones I had on my old Xbox.

That being said, if I could bring myself to play Anniversary, that milestone would jump quite a bit. Haven’t even played through half of it yet, it bores me…

My milestone is 75 with every Halo Achievement gotten, so if is anything releavent to that, then yes.

Played them all as well but I have a new account so that wouldn’t work out to well for me. I really like the idea.

Thats amazing! seriously i only have like 30 or so

Give me this.

I have milestone…69. Uhhh yeah, I totally planned that…

Probably more waypoint exclusives.

I would like to see something like exclusive nameplates for players who have played the older games. I loved that Halo Reach allowed players to choose nameplates based on which games they had played (among other things). I also didn’t mind the exclusive armor pieces (even if I never used any of them).

Gears of War 2 featured exclusive character skins based on achievements both in that game and Gears 1. Gears 3 featured exclusive medals (their version of nameplates mixed with Commendations) for Veteran players, beta testers, etc.

I would say that veteran players should have something to show off their dedication to the franchise, but nothing too extravagant.

you get to decimate all the new players who have never played a halo game before like it happened in halo reach.

Sounds like a good deal to me.

I bought Anniversary just in case Halo 4 had stuff that required Anniversary Achievements.

I’m a fan of the nameplates. They’re simple and do absolutely nothing, but Bungie sucked me in when they first released them!

I’m not being serious with this, but considering the story of Reach, running around with a shattered helmet would actually be cool.

I could get behind an early unlock of something for people with achievements from previous Halo games, but otherwise I think it’d be too elitist to have something exclusive. Exclusive pre-order bonuses are okay, though.

I want to get exclusive weapon skins, and maybe even armor skins.
