Will lock kill chief or chief kill lock

Now we have all seen the new trailer for halo 5 now if chief dies I would never play the game again bc chief has been our fav when ever the first halo game came out I would like lock to die bc no one can trust him. I think he is playing mind games with the arbiter . I would love for arbiter to take a energy sword to locks back bc I think he’s trying to kill the arbiters best friend in this case the master chief. Plz tell me below you thinking.

Err basically what will happen is the Chief is framed. Locke is chasing him and eventually learns the truth just like the Arbiter did with the Covenant and help him in time for Halo 6.

Or they could just kill off Locke which seems pointless after all of this build up over him.

Either way Chief wont die, at least not until the end of Halo 6.

Yeah, it would be a bit anti-climactic for Locke to just say “gotcha now, Chief”, then straight-up shoot him. I predict that they will team up once Locke realizes that Chief must step up to stop a forerunner or Covenant foe.

Neither. Something tells me it’ll be a lot like Code Geass (it’s an anime, don’t put my head on a spike let me explain). In the show a dude is trying to overthrow a world power. He is leading this rebellion against this nation but his childhood friend is on the other side. Long story short, they become enemies but towards the end become “allies” in working toward this goal of theirs. So Chief, in this drawing a parallel to the rebel (not saying that he is one or trying to destroy the unsc), while Locke is the frenemy (I know Locke and Chief aren’t friends but you get the picture). I feel that Locke and Chief will be enemies for most of the game and will work together to destroy some new threat.

Double posted. I deleted this comment.

Neither. Locke is confirmed to be in Halo 6.

Just making a reference. That’s my go to thing to reference when comes to frenemy situations. It fleshes out that situation better than halo 2 and 3. But let’s not discuss that here, I was simply making a reference to something else.

I seriously doubt either.
