Simple, as the title says. Will we be able to craft more legacy experience free from weapon and vehicle pads with recurring spawns on a hidden timer? While the pads are certainly nice for newcomers that are trying to grasp the arena style combat and map control, I would like the more subdued experience of placing a sniper leaned up against a tree, next to a camping stool.
I also just think it’s a great way to keep players from camping a weapon rack while they watch the bar fill up. I think part of the charm of picking up a mid-tier power weapon is ther serendipitous nature of going, “Oh, hey! Shotgun just spawned and nobody is gaurding it.”

I’m certain that manual weapon placement will be possible. If I recall correctly, this Forge is meant to be an expansion/elaboration on the one introduced by Halo 5.

I believe you to be correct, but I still have my reservations.
I really hope traditional weapon spawns are part of Forge. It is fun to launch a weapon with a grenade but should be able to do so like in Halo CE.
Something I’d also like is multiple locations an item can spawn on so players won’t know which spot a power is gonna spawn and therefore can’t camp it.
I dislike this idea. A weapon should spawn in the same location or completely random. Why they now have a countdown in game.
Same location or a countdown you’ll get the same result, someone is going to camp a power weapon spawn. One specific power weapon will have anywhere from 3-5 spots it could possibly spawn at, the purpose is to prevent one person from camping the power weapon spawn and hogging it and also encourage people to go out and play the objective instead of waiting on spawns.
It better be. I’m sure it will, but you never know with 343.
I am curious to see what forgers will prefer. Spawn pads (rotating or other wise) or the OG dormant weapons? I’ve been holding off, but I have a tin-foil hat theory on why some many of Infinite’s maps play so poor/awkwardly.

Will Legacy Weapon And Vehicle Spawning Be An Option In Forge?
I sure in the hell hope so!!
I just hope we get some of the following Forge commands:
- Copy
- Undelete
- Magnet
- Delete all
- To remove any and all Soft and kill Barriers so we can put them where we want on stock maps.
( Like we could with Halo Online! )
Peace!

As far as ranked goes, power ups and weapons spawn in central locations. With the rotating of spawns you can’t really “camp” the weapon pad. Halo infinite has less weapons that can do lethal damage than in Halo games before.
What comes to mind is Halo 3 with Narrows and The Pit. Each team got a sniper and custom power up on their side and rockets mid. Add sword and one custom on The Pit.

I’m more so coming from the perspective of BTB as that’s primarily what I play.

You assume forge will ever be a thing. And if it is a thing, you assume custom games will also work. Then, you also assume that it will be possible to file share. None of which have made any progress, behind doors and to the public.
From the leaks yes, both options will be there. Pads for random spawns, and direct place for specific spawns.
where did you get your news? as it is completely wrong.

Nothing I stated was a fact. Please read again. You completely missed the point.
Unless they tell us anything, it’s all an assumption and trusting leaks is a fools activity
I will trust what we have data on and not random words of people on the net.
There is no data unless 343 directly tells us. Leaks are worthless.
Edit: Cool, you think it’s bait.
You don’t even know what the word data means, lmao. Leaks aren’t data, they’re made up until proven accurate. It’s not a case of “data”.
Except in the case of forge leaks we have actual video evidence of its existence, and in addition to that we have multiple mentions from official sources from either 343 or an associated marketing team that make clear that forge will be released some time after the release of season 3.
This is very substantial evidence. I have no reason to be skeptical and I’d appreciate it, if instead of turning this into a 343 bad hate-thread, we could discuss the niche topic I presented, or heck, even the more broad subject of the mechanics of forge.
